“Don’t Let The Bastards Grind You Down” is a short movie written and directed by Rares G. Matei. It references Margaret Atwood’s Handmaid’s Tale and The Testaments. The movie deals with the topic of women’s rights and criticises the abortion laws, established around the world, more specifically in eastern European countries and America.

My role as head of our three person costume design department was the designing of the red robes as well as the sewing of the wing-like hats.
